Launch of 2 Game Sites

As most of you know, Indews Gaming Network Launched a fan site for Halo 4 a few weeks ago. I would like to let you know that besides Halo 4, we have also launched a game site for Age of Empires 4.

As with Halo 4, I would like to remind viewers that Age of Empires 4 has not been announced yet, and this point its development is a rumor or a hope that it is in development.

As regular readers may know, Indews Gaming recently launched a fansite for the "yet-to-be-announced" Halo 4 game. I would also like to emphasize that Halo 4 has NOT been announced, at this point it is just a rumor.

Our download offerings for the first 2 Halo games were quite successfully, unfortunately our Downloads application began having problems and we had to shut it down. Indews Gaming's Halo 4 Fansite Is Now Live!

Indews Gaming Network has launched a fansite for one of popular gaming franchises - Halo. Though this website is dedicated to the "yet to be announced and not in development game", Indews Halo 4 aims to provide halo 4 hopefuls with all the rumors and tidbits that are making rounds among the community members.

]]> I know we are getting ahead of ourselves, but who could blame us? We have decided to launch a Halo 4 Fansite even though Halo 4 hasn't been announced nor is it likely to be announced any time soon. Nonetheless, we have launched this site to keep all the fans of Halo franchise updated on the latest rumor mill that is running around this beloved franchise.

When Halo 4 does get announced, you will definitely hear more about it from us. For now, the only thing you can do is be patient, and play the Halo games that are already out.

Sega Cheats Added To Indews Game Cheats

Sega Cheat Codes Added

As I have said on numerous occasssions, we are going to bring back all of the content that was provided under Indews Video Gaming prior to it's conversion to a financial services. As part of bringing back the phased out content, I can tell you that we have now brought back some of the Cheat Codes that we provided for the Sega Platform.

Under the previous Indews Gaming, we had over a hundred cheat codes for the Sega Genesis platform, but we have decided to add no more than a dozen of the cheat codes to the site. The reason being that Sega Genesis Cheats were moderately populars, and most of the individual game cheats were rarely accessed by visitors, as such I thought, adding this content would do little to the site.

]]> Instead, I believe that the focus of the site should be on the newest game platforms. I hope that our revised focus doesn't alienate you, and if you do request cheat codes for a particular game in Sega Platform, we will definitely do our best to add them.

The Sega Cheat Codes cannot be accessed at the URL it was under the older Indews Gaming Icon, but instead has been moved with the rest of the cheat codes section to it's own sub-domain. Sega Cheats can be accessed at http://cheats.indews.com/sega

Rise of Nations Gets An Updated Design

Indews Rise of Nations has been redesigned.

As I have mentioned earlier, all Indews Game Sites are going through an update, and Rise of Nations has now completed it's own new look. The changes are similar to that of Civilization 3 and Command & Conquer. Indews Rise of Nations sports a new look, while preserving the old layout. Content like, description of Ages, Nations, System Requirements, and other content that is readily available around the net has been removed.

]]> Right now, the only content available in Rise of Nations, is the content exclusively provided by Indews Gaming. These include articles on the role of Religion in Rise of Nations, strategies of the game, and other information that can be invaluable while playing the game.

With the update of Indews Rise of Nations, we have completed update of all of our gaming sites. With the game sites done, we will now move on to Game Reviews Website that has been neglected for quite some time. Indews Game Reviews provides game reviews for various platforms, and in recent times, it has been completely discontinued. With all of the gaming sites now getting a facelift, Indews Game Reviews will now recieve a new focus, and will be updated as well, along with new gaming reviews.

Indews CNC Goes Through An Update As well

Makeover for Command & Conquer Generals

After the update of Indews Civ 3, I decided to carry out an update of Indews CNC as well. You can now see the result. I believe the site is far more aesthetically pleasing than the one before, although I do believe the greyish part of the site kinda stands out (not in a positive way), but I will work on that later. Currently, my aim was to bring the Command & Conquer Site in line with our other Game Sites, and after Indews CNC, Rise of Nations is the only game site left that needs a overhaul.

]]> The Changes to Indews Command & Conquer are the layout changes, which are quite visible, and removal of Indews Downloads links as I can't seem to revive the downloads site. The Downloads section seems to be down, and the script website that runs the downloads site is down as well, so I am stuck when it comes to providing Command & Conquer maps, mods, and other utilities. I have also removed content that I thought existed everywhere on the web, as such didn't really add any value. So, I removed all general content about Command & Conquer Games. If I ever have the time to write the information by myself regarding various units and characters in Command & Conquer universe, I will put up the information on the website.

Civilization 3 Website Updated

Civilization 3 Website Has Gone Through Some Changes

We would like to let you know that Civilization 3 Website, the oldest Indews Gaming Website has now been updated. Updated materials include a new layout, reorganization of content offered by Civilization 3, and removal of many pages thought to be redundant.

]]> The layout of the site which was presented at the far left of the monitor screen for the visitors has now been moved to the center, along with that the header of the site and the fonts have been changed, making it more aesthetically pleasing. A lot of content that didn't really offer any value have been removed, some of them include fan kit websites, feedback, and employment pages. Since Civilization 3 has been defunct for a while, these pages served no purpose, as such it was decided that it was best to remove them.

There might be further minor changes to the site in the future, and we will inform you when those changes have been implemented, until then have fun playing Civilization 3 and using our site. You can also check out our latest Civilization V website which was launched a few days earlier. The site will provide Civilization 5 released date, news, and other media for the yet to be announced game.

Civilization 5 Fan Website Launched

I would like to announce that we have launched Civilization 5 Fan Website. As we have said earlier, Indews.com is moving away from it's previous vision, and is adopting the older vision more aggressively. As part of the new Indews Gaming initiative, we have launched Civilization V Fan Website.

I would like you to know that Civilization V has not yet been released, and is rumored to release either sometime in the end of this year or some time in 2010. Although the release date is a little bit far away, we have nonetheless decided to set up the website.

As some of you may know, Indews Gaming was started with Civilization 3 Website, and being the first gaming website of Indews Gaming, Civilization Game Franchise has a special place with us, as such I and the Indews Gaming Staff will be eagerly awaiting the release of Civilization 5 game.

Civilization 3 Website Name Change

Our Civilization 3 Website has went through a name change. Earlier the site went by the name Civilization 3 - Indews Group, and now it will go by the name Civilization 3 Indews Gaming.

For those of you who may not know, Indews Civilization 3 is the oldest Indews Gaming Website. It was started earlier than even the Indews.com website. It was the first website that spawned many other websites that followed. The first civilization 3 website was a tripod website. After the site reached a saturation point on Tripod, it was decided it needed a entirely new domain and a host of its' own. At that time, Civilization 3 was known as Indeuse Civ 3. After much thought, I decided to have the name Indews instead of Indeuse. With Indews being registered, Civilization 3 became the first website/game franchise of Indews Gaming.

]]> I owe my success in some part to my obsession with Civilization 3 gaming. I was simply put, very much into the game, if not unhealthily into Civilization 3. In fact, my entire 11th grade consisted of me playing Civilization 3 for straight 6 hours. I regret aspects of that, but all in all if it wasn't for the Civilization 3 game obsession, I would have never built Indews Gaming, because of which I was single handedly able to pay off my college tuition and fees.

So, here is to Indews Civilization 3 and its' new name change.

Indews Video Games Launched Again

As many of you know the Video Games section of the website was phased out during the re-organization of indews website from a gaming content provider to a financial services. Well, as part of the adoption of the Older Gaming Vision, we have now brought online the Video Games Section.

Unlike the older Video Games Section, the new Video Games Section will have its' own domain, and as such will be available at videogames.indews.com/ instead. Right now, we are going to be limiting our offerings to Xbox 360 Playstation 3 Wii and PC platforms. The reason is that they are the newest platforms, and hence wil have the most released games. As such, we are going to concentrate on these platforms.

Indews Group Official Renamed as Indews Gaming

As I have been saying all morning, the transformation of Indews Group into its original role as Indews Gaming is now almost complete. All of the site layouts of the erstwhile Indews Group have been removed and have been replaced with Indews Gaming. As you might have seen from the title, we are now removing all traces of Indews Group from titles, and other important places.

]]> Although we are changing Indews Group to Indews Gaming, older news articles published under Indews Group will still remain. The reason is because there weren't that many articles published under Indews Group in the first place, and to remove those articles and finding them another home is more unnecessary work. As such we will retain older news articles written under Indews Group. As the Site's name, focus, and vision has been changed from Financial Services to a Gaming Content Provider, we thought it would be fitting to change our "About Us" profile as well. As such, our new About Us profile now reflects our updated "old vision" which is very much the newest thing to happen to us. We are going to try to re-include all the older cheats and other gaming material that were phased out.

As usual, these kind of changes take time, but we do hope that we don't make any such drastic changes in our vision. I personally feel that the Indews path that has been laid now will be followed, and we won't change the direction of the site from Gaming to Finanical or any other such drastic changes.

We are going to proceed to work on that by dismantling all of Indews Group pages, and any other links. The news published under Indews Group will remain, but we will bring back data under the previous Indews Gaming Network.

Indews Gaming Restructure Misguided

Restructure of Indews Gaming into Indews Group has been misguided.

It is an open secret by now, but I nonetheless would like to publicly state that the restructuring of Indews Gaming as Indews Group has been misguided. Indews Gaming served as the gaming center providing various cheat codes, downloads, game reviews, and many other gaming related content. I believed that we would serve you better if Indews.com was turned into a corporate website, with gaming moved elsewhere. Unfortunately that plan didn't work out, and Indews Group seems to have lost its focus.

]]> As our primary vision of Indews Group has failed to achieve it's goal, I believe that it would be better if Indews Group returned to its' original mission of serving gaming community's interest by providing gamers with downloads, reviews, cheat codes, and other useful data. With this, I would like to sadly announce the conclusion and closure of Indews Group and return to Indews Gaming Network. Indews Gaming Network, will provide all of the services it was originally intended to, the modifications and additional headlines provided by Indews Group would still be there, but everything from Indews Group will be ignored, and the gaming content will be again focussed.

As we stand, the core of the new Indews Gaming Network will be "Indews Cheats", "Indews Video Games", and "Indews Game Reviews". In addition to these Indews Game Sites, there will also be stand alone game websites such as Indews Rise of Nations, Indews Civilization 3, and Indews Command & Conquer Generals.

Indews Cheats will provide Cheats for various platforms including Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 2, and PC

Indews Game Reviews will provide reviews for games of various platforms.

Indews Video Games Will provide game profiles for all the major game platforms, including the above mentioned game consoles.
